Did a quick bit of shopping recently at Carrera Sports cos they have all
the trick bits on show. I brought a couple of parts which you can see in
the pictures below.
Here you can see the one-piece hub-nuts which
are anodized gold. I'm having them modified
slightly to remove the edge where the retainer
ring would normally be fitted so it's a smooth nut
and will use a bodyclip through the axel instead.
I'm also going to anodize it red instead.
I've also got an alloy breather to replace the plastic one which screws into
the engine case as you can see below.
You can see the breather itself in the first picture, you have to use the insides
from the original one though, that's an O-ring part way up not a gap.
In the second picture you can see it fitted into the engine case with the pipercross
filter on it.
Here you can see the plugs for the front axel which are
anodized in gold, these just help keep the dirt out and
look that bit better than a hole.
In the pictures you can see the plugs in the axel, the bolts are loose in picture
two as I'm redoing the speedo drive mount at the moment.
I also brought a small plaque to go on the top yoke but I want to get it stamped
with the word EVO before I mount it, I'll add a picture when I do. I'll also add
pictures of the hubnuts when I get them back.
