Thought I'd better get
something up here, for those if you who are wondering what stage the bike is
at. The frame has gone off to be painted now, so I should get it back in
a week or so (fingers crossed).
I've changed the slipper
clutch for a new 48tooth STM Evo model. I tried a bike with one of these
and it's much smoother with no grabbing, you can see pictures of this below.

I also had to buy a new
clutch plate kit to got with the above but not worth
sticking a picture up of that ;o)
The carbon clutch cover I
had before didn't do much good either, so I've opted for a billet crash
cover. I got this from TekMoto, it's red but I may swap it out for a
black one, not really sure at the mo.

I've got a few more
replacement parts on the way so I'll stick pictures up when I recieve
them. I decided to change the breather on the tank as well, I was having
problems with the rollover valve not sealing properly, and causing fuel to leak
out when braking hard. I've had a small tube welded in place, i'll just
run a pipe with a one-way valve like I used on the crosser. The tank
needs redoing anyway so I wasn't too bothered about the welding etc. You
can see it below.

I'm going to get the
swingarm nickle plated along with a few other parts, saves the hassle with
polishing all the time, and the nickle has a gold tinge in it which I think
will suit the bike. I'm also getting some of the bolts milled in
Titanium, namely the engine bolts that hold it in the frame, the bolts that
hold the rear shock, rear brake pedal pivot and any others that spring to
mind. I'll post pics when I recieve them.
That's about it for now,
stay tuned for the next installment!! :o)
Time for another
update! I recieved my new triple clamps from RAM, that they made for me
to suit the WSB Ohlins. Many thanks to Dino for sorting everything
out. They did a fine job I must say, the clamps say quality the moment
you see them!!!
They are fully adjustable
via different types of shim, you can see in one of the pics below the oval
shims in the top and bottom yokes. There is a serious bit of milling on
that bottom yoke to reduce weight. And as they're adjustable the stem is
also removeable, so you can always transfer them to another bike. Just
check the pics out to see what I mean.

Hopefully I should get
the frame back in about a week, although I'm still waiting on the titanium
bolts and without them I can't put the engine back in. :o(
