Wow been a bit slow with the updates as I've been rushing around in the run
up to Mayday which has now come and gone. Was a good day and the bike was running
sweet, although I think it needed the long run to clear the cobwebs out! ;o)
Everything turned up at the last minute and I took a couple of days off work to get it done, was finally running Sunday evening with the Mayday on the Monday. Nuffin' like cutting it close eh! lol
I've just picked up a new ride height adjuster although I've been waiting a while as it was being made. I'm still waiting on the bearings and for it to be anodized before I fit it. You can see it below in its current state, it looks real nice in bare milled alloy but it wouldn't last in that finish hence I'm having it hard anodized like the rest if the bike.
You can see from the pictures above it's a fine piece of kit, the center nut is made from titanium and threaded left/right so it's a single adjustment and it's tightened but two clamping screws (titanium) each side. It's actually a copy of the factory adjusters but where as theirs are made completely of titanium mine is aluminium with a titanium nut.
Once it's anodized and fitted to the bike I'll add a new picture, also once all the parts have come back from the anodizers (more than one item being done), I'll take a load of pics of the bike as she is now and update the main pictures page.
