Well thought I'd better stick something on the site with a bit
more information about myself, seeing as the site's been up
for over a year now.
Name: Chris Payne
Age: 30
Born: 6th March 1974
Where: A Hospital (hehe)
Job: IT System Analyst for ChevronTexaco
ICQ: 2256663 - SixKiller (no longer used)
Got Car license: 29th Nov 1993 {:-)
Got bike license: 24th Feb 1999 {:-))
As you can see I've had my bike license for nearly a year now but my Ducati's only done
1000 miles, this is because it's been off the road most of last year as I was building it
so hopefully this year will see some serious mileage added to it. I can't ride it
too well
as yet but as they say practise makes perfect, I do ride my moped every day to work
though which is great cos it saves me so much time and money in travel!
As you may have guessed I like Audi's a lot and like to modify them although not OTT
so as to ruin their looks. I never really planned on getting a bike as I was happy
just
tinkering with the cars, but as my friends eventually got their bikes I started to get
left
behind when we all went out together especially in traffic :-) Hence I decided to
buy a
bike. As I didn't have a license as yet I thought I'd get something todo up over a
period
of time, so came to the conclusion of the 916 as they sound terrific and look excellent.
I thought about getting a smaller bike but I would only end up trading it in after a while
and lose money on it, and I wouldn't have been happy if I didn't have the 916 I longed
for.
So the search started for a crash damaged 916 that I could work on as time and money
allowed and until I could take my test and ride the bike I always wanted, hence this
website
and the rest of this story as they say is history..........
Whatever you ride if it's got two wheels then you'll always get a nod from me if I pass
you
on the road.
