First update for a while, popped along to the NEC bike show this week
and picked up a couple of deals on some parts I've been after.

Here's the Samco hose kit I've been after,
got it for a good price so I couldn't resist.

I also picked up a bolt kit for the engine,
case covers etc.  There are 70odd bolts
here and it took me about 2 hrs to fit them
all, my thumbs are numb from using the
cold allen key.

Got some Titanium bolts as well to hold
my front discs on.

These don't weigh anything and nor does
my wallet after buying them ;-)

Also picked up the sponsor stickers I wanted
for the bellypan which is staying bare carbon.

A selection of assorted bolts and fixings, got
some decent dzus fasteners and plastic screen
bolts (give in a crash) - the red bolts are for
fixing a part of the bodywork on.

I also got a very good deal on the AP Racing six-pot conversion from Harris
which they didn't have available at the show so I'll have to goto their showroom
in a week or so to pick the kit up - I've got a buyer for my Brembo Gold discs so
that covers some of the kit price.  They also did me one of their rear machined
master cylinders cheap which I've always wanted so I'll grab that at the same time.

I spent the day fitting the bolts and Samco pipes, you can see them in the pictures
below.  I still need a few more bolts to complete the bike.

You can see in these pictures that I've
stuck the bolts into various places, the
rocker covers (only 1 in picture to left)
and the main engine casings as well as
dotting a few around the bike where
possible.  Some of the bolts are hidden
from view but you get the idea.

Just a small shot of the lonely hose on the other
side of the bike.  There is a hose that runs in the
middle of the bike and can be seen behind the
wiring in the top two pictures, that was a bugger
to fit!!

I used some nice Taylor stainless hose clips as the standard ones were
steel (I think) and would have eventually gone manky once I start
using the bike.

I have picked up my AP brakes now but they didn't have my rear master
cylinder in so now I have to wait for them to post it :-(

You can see what comes in the kit below, and I managed to get anodized
fittings with them instead of the standard ones.

I had to trim down the speedo drive slightly to clear the Titanium bolts I
brought for the discs - you can see them in the right picture, this is because
the AP's do not have a recess for the bolt heads like my Brembo discs had.

I just need to find a location that can Ohlinize my forks for me.  I'll fit the
rear caliper once I pick it up from Harris and I want to get the rear mini AP
caliper so it matches the front.  I'll have to wait till I get paid in December
before I can continue though :-)

L8trz!!
